Luján Fernández (born 1979) was an Argentine model, who appeared on the covers of several fashion magazines.

Early life
Luján Fernández grew up with an affinity for acting and from early childhood was involved with several local television programs. She was a teenager TV star before becoming a model, and was discovered at the age of 14 years while on an Uruguayan beach. After consulting with her parents, because she was a minor, she decided to give fashion modeling a try. A few photo shoots later, she knew that fashion industry was her calling. With hard work, local and even international publications soon marked her resume, all before she was 18.
Career
Fernández appeared on the covers of ELLE, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, as well as United States, German, and French Vogue. The work kept coming and, like many foreign models before her, she decided to move to New York City.
Fernández hit the runway for the likes of Ralph Lauren, BCBG and John Bartlett, and was featured in print campaigns for Perry Ellis, Chloé, Emanuel Ungaro, and XOXO, and appeared in the Victoria's Secret catalogs. She also appeared in the 2000 and 2001 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues.

Personal life
Luján Fernández was an avid reader of poetry, including such poets as Allen Ginsberg, Dylan Thomas, Shel Silverstein, Maya Angelou and Pablo Neruda.
